Answer

If you have restricted your activities, it may be because you have restricted your course’s weeks to close at a specific date. Restricted weekly block or restricted activity will hide that activity’s grade.

If you restrict access to course weeks, this prevents the students from viewing grades in their course related to weeks where access has been restricted.

Restricted access is best for resources such as links, or documents, rather than activities because it also hides the gradebook entries related to that topic. Links and documents don’t have gradebook entries so this isn’t an issue. Activities have open and close dates such as assignments and quizzes, so restricted access isn’t really needed. The feature is best for resources only.
