What are the functions of the tools that appear when I turn editing on?

A: When you turn editing on, you gain access to several tools as seen below:

Left to right, here are the functions of each tool:

the pencil icon allows to rename your item directly on the course page without entering the settings for that item.

left indent - the left arrow icon is used to indent course elements towards the left.

right indent - the right arrow icon is used to indent course elements towards the right.

move - the move icon allows you to move items or sections by dragging and dropping.

When a box appears, the “move here” icon appears when moving a course element; you should click on the box to select where to place the item you are moving.
edit content - allows you to edit the settings of the course elements.

the duplicate icon allows you to copy an activity or resource within your course.

delete will permanently delete something from the course.

open or close the eye for visibility.

assign roles (used for Groups and Disability function).
