There are 11 group study rooms total - 6 are located on the 2nd floor and 5 in the basement. Group study rooms are intended for groups of two or more students and they operate on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis. White boards are in each room. Markers and erasers are available at the Reference Desk on the library 2nd floor.

The following policies apply to the use of the Group Study Rooms:

*Rooms are available for Mississippi College students, faculty, or staff only.

*Students may not reserve study rooms in advance.

*Rooms are provided for groups of two (2) or more; they are not for individual use.

*Materials cannot be left in the room unattended. Students are not allowed to leave belongings or materials in the room unattended or to prevent others from using the room.

*Group Study Rooms are provided for collaborative work, but they are not soundproof. Students must keep noise to a moderate level. Library staff reserves the right to remove any group that is deemed too loud.

*Students should leave the rooms in good condition, with the boards erased and trash disposed properly.

*Books, journals, and other materials belonging to the library should not be left in the study rooms. Furniture should not be removed from the study rooms.
