To find items physically located at the library, you can use the online catalog is called MICAL. It allows you to search for books by subject, author, or title, in addition to many advanced search features. To learn how to search in MICAL, watch a tutorial here.

There are number of people in the library who will be able to help you find a book and learn about MICAL:

There will be a reference librarian on duty at the Reference Desk from 8:00 am - 9:30 pm Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, on Fridays, 12 noon - 5:00 pm on Saturdays, and 2:00 - 8:00 pm on Sundays. Between semesters and during holiday periods, the hours the library is open may vary. In addition, there will always be a staff member or student worker at the Circulation Desk who can help you find a book. Between 10:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. Mondays through Thursdays, between 5:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. on Saturdays, and on Sundays between 8:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m., there will be a staff member at the Reference Desk who will be able to help you find a book.

The Reference Desk is located on the second level of the library. The phone number is 601.925.3916.

Call 601.925.3232 for assistance at the Circulation Desk. Hope Smith, Circulation Associate, may be reached at 601.925.3232. You can also email at Reference Librarian using the Ask-A-Librarian forum.
