Because quizzes are automated, late quizzes are marked as 0 and there is no grace period, unless they serve as a “self-assessment” for students. (If you are using the module as a study tool, see “self-assessment” quiz.) Here is the suggested verbiage you should use in each quiz: "Any late quizzes will be marked as 0." Late writing assignments (so many points per day) are acceptable and much easier to administer than quizzes.
